Dieses Tape ist in vielerlei Hinsicht etwas besonderes für mich.

Im November 2021 hatte ich einen Unfall woraufhin im Dezember 2021 eine Operation folgte. Es kam wie es kommen musste: schlaflose Nächte in denen ich soweit es mir möglich war, ständig Beats gebaut hab auf meiner MPC (respektiere die Maschine!) Das Resultat findest du auf 2x30 Minuten.

"Bapvillainy" ist ein namentliches Paragramm, angelehnt an den 2004 erschienen Klassiker "Madvillainy" von MF Doom und Madlib. Die A- Seite ist ein Remix Projekt, welches dem Tape seinen Namen gibt. Die B-Seite sind die kompletten Instrumentals. Da dies mein inzwischen 10. Beat Tape ist, macht es für mich auch Sinn, die Instrumentals zu veröffentlichen. Bei Spotify kann ich ebenfalls nur Beats veröffentlichen (Copyrights - du weißt).
Dem Tape liegt auch eine Downloadkarte bei, über den dort genannten Link kannst du dir das komplette Tape in verschiedenen Formaten runterladen.

Ich weiß nicht mehr wie viele Stunden, Tage und Nächte ich gebraucht hab bis es am Ende das geworden ist, was es heute ist. Fakt ist: Ich bin sehr stolz darauf, endlich das gemacht zu haben, wovon ich mit 16 Jahren schon geträumt hab. Eine Kassette und eine MPC besitzen. An diese Träume kann ich jetzt einen Haken machen :)

This tape is special to me in many ways.

In November 2021 I had an accident which was followed by an operation in December 2021. It came as it had to come: sleepless nights in which I built as much as I could beats on my MPC (respect the machine!) The result you can find on 2x30 minutes.
"Bapvillainy" is a paragram by name, based on the 2004 classic "Madvillainy" by MF Doom and Madlib. The A- side is a remix project, which gives the tape its name. The B-side are the complete instrumentals. Since this is my 10th beat tape by now, it also makes sense for me to release the instrumentals. On Spotify I can also only publish beats (copyrights - you know).
The tape also comes with a download card, you can download the complete tape in different formats via the link mentioned there.

I don't know how many hours, days and nights it took me until it became what it is today. Fact is: I am very proud to have finally done what I dreamed of when I was 16 years old. To own a cassette and an MPC. I can now put a check mark on those dreams :)

amongst a million DOOM mixes out there this one stands head & shoulders above the others. from the pulp fiction tiee in to the dope beats to the creative samples it ends up landing a perfect 10. now one can only hope irn mnky will repress this outstanding mix for those us unfortunate few who missed out on the vinyl first time round. EDIT: Scored a vinyl copy for $38 on Discogs! 10/10 cageck11
